{"id":11525,"date":"2026-08-14T06:34:30","date_gmt":"2026-08-14T06:34:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mechtech.vinte.sh\/fl\/?p=11525"},"modified":"2026-08-14T23:42:30","modified_gmt":"2026-08-14T23:42:30","slug":"special-event-to-open-jamboree-puerto-rican-tour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mechtech.vinte.sh\/fl\/special-event-to-open-jamboree-puerto-rican-tour\/","title":{"rendered":"Special event to open Jamboree Puerto Rican tour"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This month\u2019s Honeywell Garrett Jamboree, presented by Tuners Edge and Link ECU, will host no less than four international drag racing stars all the way from Puerto Rico and to celebrate, a special Open Night will be held to officially welcome the international racers and their crews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Open Night will be hosted on Monday the 21st&nbsp;of August from 6.00pm by Jamboree Tour Naming Rights Partner, Oceania College of Technology. Race fans are invited to attend. The official Jamboree event will be held at Willowbank Raceway across August 26 and 27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each of the four Puerto Rican all-star team will attend the Open Night event along with their fast-paced machines: the Mech-Tech 2JZ-powered Scion, the third quickest import car in the world; the Loquito Killer 20B-powered Mazda RX8, which is the second quickest 20B Rotary in the world; the El Humilde 2JZ-powered Toyota Corolla AE86, the world\u2019s Fastest 3\/4 Chassis Car; and the Rafaelito Racing 13B-powered Mazda RX8 \u2013 the world\u2019s quickest 13B Rotary-engine vehicle. These impressive drag racing cars will be driven by Isaias Rojas, Edwin Burgos,&nbsp;Jorge Juarbe and Luis Rivera respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jamboree Directors, Collin Willshire and Ray Box, said the Open Night would provide the perfect preamble to two big days of racing at what is expected to be an awesome Jamboree 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHaving four of Puerto Rico\u2019s fastest drag racers coming all the way to Australia for the Jamboree with the support of Oceania College of Technology is something we are very excited about,\u201d Box said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe world-beating performances of these four teams is well known and respected, and I know our Australian competitors can\u2019t wait to go up against them in battle across August 26 and 27 when we get down to racing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cBefore we do, we are looking forward to officially welcoming their tour ahead of the event with this special Open Night at Oceania College of Technology.
